English Journal was recently honored with a 2007 APEX Award of Excellence for Magazine and Journal Writing. This award is based primarily on the editorial quality of one issue (September 2006). The 19th Annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications, from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures, and Web sites.
