Winners of the 2003 awards were Joseph M. Flanagan and Thomas M. McCann for "A Tempest Project: Shakespeare and Critical Conflicts" (September 2002) and Jennifer D. Morrison for "Using Student-Film to Create a Culturally Relevant Community" (September 2002).

Honorable mentions were awarded to Christie "CJ" Bott for "Zines—The Ultimate Creative Writing Project" (November 2002) and Benjamin B. Dziedzic for "When Mulitgenre Meets Multimedia: Reading Films to Understand Books" (November 2002).
